What is Chatrise?
Chatrise is a ChatGPT-powered assistant that lives inside your Shopify admin. Ask anything about your store and get instant answers, draft emails and product descriptions, create discount codes, check inventory, and more — all without leaving Shopify.
Which AI does Chatrise use?
Chatrise is powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT (GPT-5 model). Free and Pro plans use the same AI. The difference between plans is message volume and access to write actions.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it to train AI models. OpenAI processes your messages but does not train on API data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can Chatrise actually take actions in my store?
Yes, on Pro plans. Chatrise can update product descriptions, create discount codes, tag orders, adjust inventory, and more. Every write action shows a confirmation card before it executes, so nothing happens without your approval.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free: 25 AI chats per month, read-only tools. Ask questions about your store but Chatrise can't take actions like creating discounts or drafting emails.
Pro ($29/month or $290/year): 1,000 AI chats per month, all read tools plus write actions (create discounts, draft emails, draft blog posts, update products, create customer segments), 7-day free trial.
How does the free trial work?
When you upgrade to Pro, you get 7 days free. Cancel anytime during the trial and you're not charged. If you don't cancel, billing starts on day 8.
What happens after 1,000 messages on Pro?
You'll be notified as you approach the limit. Once reached, you can wait for the next billing cycle or contact us at [email protected] to discuss higher limits.
How do I cancel?
Open Chatrise → Settings (gear icon) → Billing → Cancel. Or uninstall the app from your Shopify admin. Cancellation is immediate.
Why doesn't Chatrise see orders from more than 60 days ago?
Shopify limits new apps to 60 days of order history by default. We've requested extended access from Shopify and will enable it once approved.
Can Chatrise see my customers' personal information?
Chatrise can access customer data via Shopify's API only when you specifically ask for it (e.g. "show me orders from this customer"). It does not bulk-export customer data or send it anywhere outside your store.
Is Chatrise affiliated with OpenAI or Shopify?
Chatrise uses OpenAI's API and is distributed through the Shopify App Store, but is built by Appsarise, an independent company. We are not endorsed by or affiliated with OpenAI or Shopify.
Does Chatrise work on mobile?
Chatrise works in the Shopify admin, including the Shopify Mobile app. The chat interface is optimized for both desktop and mobile screens.
